Fitglow Beauty - Vitamin C + Bakuchiol Body Serum-in-Cream - 200ml

I have been using the Fitglow face wash and really like it so tried the body serum lotion which is pleasant too. I like the plant based ingredients and overall texture of the lotion. It feels silky and creamy, absorbs well too. The fragrance is a little strong at first but doesn’t linger to be a problem later. To me, this is still a “fashion” lotion that requires reapplication comparable to popular specialty beauty brands. For my eczema, I still require the fragrance free neutral pharmacy drug store lotions but I like having fancy fun options and this Fitglow lotion fits that purpose.

I feel like this is an overall decent product. However, I’ve only used it on my body and I’m just not sure if it has actually done anything other than hydrate my skin. To be fair, I’ve never tried a “serum-in-cream” body product before. I just can’t really see any differences. It does moisturize decently well though. It wasn’t super greasy and I feel like it did absorb nicely. As for effectiveness, again, it moisturizes my skin. However, with any moisturizing product, your skin will look better. This is made with Vitamin C and Bakuchiol. Which are 2 very good skincare ingredients, but I haven’t noticed any differences as per the claims that are made. The fragrance wasn’t as problem for me either. The main issue I have is whether or not it actually does what it claims. Ultimately, I almost feel like this is just a gloried lotion. I don’t feel like it’s any worse or better than more affordable products. It does dispense really easily though, so the packaging is nice. I’m just not sure if I can recommend. I’m kind of in that neutral spot of recommending or not. I will use the bottle I have, but I just don’t think it’s something I’d continue having in my body care collection.

I absolutely love this body serum-in-cream! It has a luxurious feel but absorbs nicely without leaving my skin greasy. My skin feels incredibly soft, smooth and hydrated, and with regular use it looks more radiant and healthy. I especially love the combination of Vitamin C and bakuchiol, along with hyaluronic acid and nourishing oils. It’s a great addition to my daily skincare routine, especially for areas that tend to show dryness and signs of aging. My skin feels smoother, firmer and beautifully moisturized. I would definitely recommend this!

I absolutely adore FitGlow products and use their face products regularly, so this was my first time trying one of their body products. I was really excited to see how it compared, and I’m definitely not disappointed! This body serum-in-cream has such a lovely texture. It feels rich and moisturizing without being greasy or sticky, and my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated after I use it. It has that little bit of luxury that makes applying body lotion feel more like skincare than a chore. I also really like the combination of vitamin C and bakuchiol, and the 200ml size is generous enough that I can use it all over without feeling like I have to be stingy with it. I already love FitGlow for my face, and now I’m officially a fan of their body products too. My skin feels soft, smooth, and beautifully moisturized

I am a long time fan of fitglow, and in particular their mascara and lipgloss are my absolute favorite. While I typically choose luxury brands like Sisley Paris, Chantecaille, and Lancome for makeup I continue to be impressed by how well fitglows line of products perform. I have been upgrading my facial skincare to premium products from La Prairie, but I simply needed something more economical for my body skincare. This body serum works very well. It meets my skincare needs despite my high expectations and standards. The quantity is very generous and is such an affordable price. This makes my skin feel moisturized in a light and non greasy way. The fragrance is slightly citrus and is overall quite pleasant. This may be less luxurious than some of the products I tend to choose, but it still has a lovely feel and stands out as a nice product in my opinion. I recommend fitglows mascara all the time, and will always be open to trying more of their offerings. This brand continues to earn it's spot in my luxury beauty routine while being a lot more affordable.

I was a bit alarmed when I received this and reviewed the ingredient list on the box. This cream is chock full of allergens and irritants, including fragrance and essential oils. The ones that particularly concern me are the lavender, mint, and citrus oils, which are sensitizing—they can make even normal skin turn into sensitive skin, which makes me pretty dangerous in my opinion. I could not in good conscience recommend this cream to anyone, much less anyone with sensitive skin. Also, I note that the marketing touts the inclusion of vitamin C; however the particular derivative in the ingredient list, ascorbyl palmitate, is the C derivative which as I understand it has the least efficacy while being most unstable and irritating. This product feels amazing never had a lotion this moisturizing with all natural ingredients before. Holy grail lotion. Will continue to buy
