Purifier Large Glass Water Filter Jug with Reusable Cartridge - 2.8L

Love it as I’m really trying to stay away from plastic containers. It’s a beautifully designed water filer carafe , easy to use but very heavy! The water tastes great and I do love the look of it.

Wow - just wow! Worth the money. I purchased this to replace our older plastic water filter pitcher. I had concerns about using plastic to hold our filtered water and just deterioration of the plastic over time. This pitcher is not only beautiful but it is entirely stainless steel and glass - the only plastic included is in the granules used to filter, but they're necessary for stripping out some of the impurities in the hard tap water here in NYC. It was very easy to set up and changing the filter is very easy as well. I did read the NY Mag article about the product and plan to regularly clean the filter and pitcher - apparently this reduces the "funky" buildup that any normal water filter gets over time, but it's a huge plus that the components are stainless steel and glass and can go in the dishwasher.

I really like the product since it is plastic-free and does not require plastic cartridges. It is a bit heavy when full and leaks from the lid when you pour from it (in small amounts).

Awesome product! Super easy to use I didn’t have any problems like others saying it was way too tight or things have broken yet the water taste super great. I love that. There is a little dial so you can remind yourself when to change the filters. I’m in an apartment so this worked out perfect because I can’t connect to things and I’m living in on space

MAJOR HEALTH CONCERN!!!! I was so excited to see that somebody had produced one of these filters that was glass and stainless steel. However, we've had this for 2 months and it has started rusting. Obviously super cheap stainless steel. Do not buy major health concern. Please see photo.

Works great I got the large size for a family of 4. I love how easy to clean it is and no plastic parts touching our drinking water ! It’s a bit heavy but not enough to garner complaints from any of the family.

I really wanted to love this pitcher. The water it produces tastes excellent, and the glass build is heavy, high quality, and dishwasher safe. In the beginning, everything good about it was overshadowed by one critical flaw: I had a difficult time getting the filter system to work properly. It kept falling apart in the pitcher. The company noticed my concern in my earlier review and reached out to see if they could solve the problem, suggesting the issue might have been a defective filter cartridge. I gave that a shot and they sent me a new filter cartridge - and a packet of filter media to replace what I had lost. I was most impressed. The best part is that the replacement cartridge did, in fact, solve the problem and the new cartridge stays together as it is supposed to now. So I give them 5 stars for their attention to customers and their unwavering support of their product. And, as I wrote earlier, I love everything else about the product. Great materials, excellent tasting water, dishwasher safe. So it now gets 5 stars in my book. Highly recommended (as long as you don't mind filling filter cartridges with the media (they're not self-contained a la Brita, et al)).

Is this a bit pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? In my opinion, yes! It is made almost entirely of stainless steel and glass (a few smaller parts have thick plastic but otherwise it filters water well and makes the water taste fantastic. Some have mentioned the filtration taking a bit of time, it’s not that long. Maybe a minute or two. It holds a decent amount of water and stays really cold due to the glass pitcher. It is glass, we had one prior to the current one we have because one family member set it on the edge of a counter and it dropped pretty hard onto vinyl flooring and shattered. That being said, it’s held up to hand washing and being knocked around in the fridge and among other dishes. I would easily recommend this and purchase this again. My only complaint is the mess of the type of filter it uses.

We're very much enjoying this water jug. It's esthetically pleasing, extremely functional, and provides peace of mind - no more drinking out of plastic! We were worried it would be delicate (we have young kids: 8 and 5, and perfectly capable of pouring themselves a glass of water) but it's no more delicate than the average glass French press or carafe. The handle is large and well balanced, thd lid stays fixed in place when you pour, and the water filters in a matter of minutes. We're extremely pleased with this purchase, and it will provide safer drinking water than the average plastic brita filter for years to come.
