This stuff is AMAZING! I only wish that this blend of the tallow, beeswax and honey came in a larger size. You can get just plain tallow from them too, which is also great, but this blend has done done wonders for my skin. It helped heal psoriasis and eczema and even makes scabs heal up without scarring. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this product for skin care needs. I had read other reviews that the product smelled rancid or strong and others came liquified. The product I received had a very very faint beef scent (obviously) that faded away quickly after application and the product was a balm texture. Very pleased with the product as it quickly absorbs and leaves my skin moisturized better than any balm or lotion I have tried. Will buy again!

I actually really like the feel of this product and it doesn’t make me feel too greasy in comparison to some moisturizers on the market. I take some (teeny tiny amount should do) 1-2x day and rub it between my hands and rub into my face + neck. Feels greasy at first but it absorbs after 30 sec or so. I have hormonal acne and just wanted something super simple. I personally don’t buy into the “avoid-chemicals” skin care train just because what’s in the market has been tested many times and are made by chemists and have evidence-based results. However, I like this stuff in comparison to moisturizers I’ve used. I’m not sure it will do anything with my acne but I like the experience and it doesn’t smell that bad. The only issue I could possibly have is that it could go rancid with the temperature change where I live. I’ll try my best to keep an eye on that though.

This is an incredible value, good quality And has helped replenish my skin. I didn't use it for cooking I used it for my skin, I heard it had great benefits and I'm seeing them right away. This has helped my skin rejuvenate look hydrated, feel hydrated but also has helped diminished wrinkles and has helped cause my skin to glow Has helped reduce small frown or wrinkle lines. A little goes a long way this bottle. It can last you quite a while depending on how much you use it whether for cooking or for your skin. Even when using for your skin it has just the slightest smell of beef. So your skin is not going to smell like beef everywhere you go, because the beef smell is so so so light and you don't have to worry about that being a strong scent or smell or overpowering on your skin because it's not. This has helped my skin in incredible ways and works so fast You will see the results quickly.

I'm a retired guy with aging, dry skin. I live in the high desert, so skin care is not something to take lightly. I spend a lot of time outdoors, year-round, and do not like to use sunscreen (though I do). So a solid skincare routine is awfully important. I tried the Santa Cruz Paleo Beef Tallow after reading a review that suggested that beef tallow is a close match to the nutrients in and beneath the human skin layer. I caught significant grief from my wife for buying this pure beef tallow, and got quite a bit of teasing about 'smelling like a cheeseburger'. Though I think that was more a joke. I've tried several other beef tallow skin creams, and what is distinctive about the Santa Cruz product is that it seems to be less 'processed' than the others. By that, I mean that it seems to be 100% pure, where the competing products seem to have been blended with other emollients to make them more smooth, closer to a lotion than to a cream or salve.
